About Our Company
Glamsgirl was founded by a young Namibian-American lady by the name Moe, with the help of her younger sisters, to help naturals reach their hair growth journey, promote healthy hair growth and to support a good cause.
One of the company’s feature and number one product ( Oombeke hair growth oil), is a traditional hair growth oil, which has been used by the Ovahimba and Oshiwambo tribes of Namibia for centuries.
The Himba tribe of Namibia is known to have started hair braiding, and have been using this oil, red clay and butter fat to retain and grow their hair to waist length. The Oshiwambo people, namely the Mbalantu people of Namibia have been using Oombeke hair growth , to grow their hair to ankle lengths as well as to protect their skin from sun damage.
This special treatment was used to drastically speed up hair growth.
As a natural, Moe, loves to add color to her hair and due to countless times of hair breakage as a result of bleaching and hair coloring, consulted her family back in Namibia, who introduced her to this remedy.
The result of course was minimum hair shading a growth.
